When should I get my spray tan?
For events, it's best to schedule your spray tan 2–3 days prior to ensure optimal color development. For vacations, aim for a session as close to your departure date as possible for a fresh glow.

Will I need more than one spray tan to achieve my desired color?
No, a single session with our custom-blended solutions is designed to meet your desired shade.

Should I get my manicure/pedicure before or after my tan?
It's advisable to complete nail services and other beauty treatments before your spray tan. If needed after, wait until after your first shower and request minimal exfoliation.

How do I prepare my skin for a spray tan?

• The day before: Shower and exfoliate. Shave or perform any hair removal.

• The day of: Skin should be free from self-tanners, makeup, perfumes, deodorants, and oils. Use Luxe-approved moisturizer if extremely dry.

I'm under 18; can I still get a spray tan?

What should I expect upon arrival?
Your appointment begins with a personalized color consult. A pH-balancing spray preps your skin, and you’ll receive a hydration mist and custom finishing powder after application.

How long does the appointment take?

Who will be applying my spray tan?

What’s included in a full-body tan?
Full-body tanning includes the entire body and face. Let me know if you’d like to exclude any area.

Do I have to have my face sprayed?
No. We can skip your face and blend the tan seamlessly into your neck.

Post-Tan

Will I turn orange?
Never. Luxe uses custom-mixed, water-based, vegan formulas to match your skin tone and avoid orange hues.

What should I avoid after my spray tan?
Avoid water, sweating, tight clothes, or skin-on-skin contact until your first rinse. Stay dry and let it marinate!

Can I sleep in my tan before showering?
Yes, with loose clothes. If you're a night sweater, consider a rapid rinse tan instead.

How long does a Luxe spray tan last?
With proper care, 7–10 days. Luxe-approved products will help extend it!

How long does the tan take to develop?
It takes 24 hours after your rinse for your final color to fully develop. Even after your first shower, your glow keeps getting better!

How do I maintain my glow?
Use Luxe-safe body wash, avoid bar soap and exfoliants, and moisturize daily with Luxe Gradual Tan Extender.

Can I shave while I have a spray tan?
Yes—wait 24 hours, then shave gently with minimal pressure.

How do I keep my tan glowing on vacation?
Avoid long soaks, saltwater, and chlorine when possible. Use your Luxe Gradual Tanner to touch up while away.
